MBA students from the University of Amsterdam visit TIAO
Last Friday 6th, the TIAO team received a very special visit at our offices in Brussels: a group of master students from the University of Amsterdam, Msc. Business Administration. During their visit, organised by the Study Association Sefa from the Economics & Business faculty, the students were able to learn from a growing start-up in the field of business development and international trade: who we are, what TIAO does, our vision, our objectives and our value proposition of making a business world without barriers for everyone. For those students pursuing a specialisation in strategy or digital business visiting TIAO represented a good combination of how you can integrate both worlds to make international business easier.
Hosted by Nicolas Mathieu, Stakeholder Engagement Executive, and Joost Visser, Managing Director, the students received a brief presentation of the company and our two current projects, COBCOE Connects and be.connected: the difference between each project, how companies are linked, the role of the chambers and the moderators, some recent success stories and the importance of social media to spread business opportunities between chambers of commerce and members. They could also learn how our day to day work operates and they had time to ask questions about the company, the platform, our office environment andwhat it is like working in a business hub like Brussels. The students mentioned that it was impressive to gain insight into the breadth of knowledge of the hosts at TIAO, the passion, drive and future opportunities that TIAO are exploring – a truly entrepreneurial firm.
From TIAO side, it was a great opportunity to listen to new points of view, ideas and proposals as well as meeting potential candidates for TIAO in the near future.
